Mark 10:6-9 But at the beginning of creation God ‘made them male and female.‘For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh. So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate.”
I personally do not agree with Gay Marriage and my purpose for saying so comes from my religion and what is in the Bible. Marriage is between a man and a woman, not a man and man nor woman and woman. This is not to say that I dislike a person because of their sexuality or who they choose to date but I dislike the sin. Although Katha Pollitt believes that gay marriage is okay and does not really care for marriage as she says in her article. She says that "The marriage of man and woman is "sacred," and opening it to same sexers violates its sacred nature". I do agree with this, but to a certain extent, because we are open to letting them in but it is if they are willing to change their way of sexuality to let God into their life.

Wikipedia Topic
From the research I have started doing, I have finally came to the conclusion of what I want my Wikipedia topic to be which is based of the career of a clothing buyer. Not a lot of people know what a clothing buyer is, and although you can find information about it on Wikipedia there is not much there. Also I know that there are a lot of websites and books out there with good information that I can use for this project. If you were to compare this career to a regular buyer you would most likely find more information because it is not going in depth into what they do exactly and the different types of buyers that are out there.

Writer's Voice in Wikipedia
I get on Wikipedia daily just to read biographies about people, TV shows, and different subjects that just interest me. One topic I have looked up recently was about different hazing cases that have taken place in the United States over the years. The writer's voice on this topic was very artsy with the subject and enables the writer to go a long way with the subject. The writer on Wikipedia always is tough on what to put and make existent.

Doc1 Thesis
My group took on our Doc1 subject by talking about why it is important to create a professional image now, and the consequences that can come up if you do not. From this we came up with three different topics to talk about in our thesis which includes not getting accepted into schools, the government, and a persons future. All three of these topics we found to be important when it comes to creating a professional image now.

Handling A Reader On Doc1
The Doc 1 topic was based on "Why College Students Should Create A Professional Image?". When writing an essay like this you should not fall off topic, you should always stay on topic and not be boring with the subject. There are many ways you can take this topic like by giving tips, talking about different professional images, ways that you can ruin you professional image, and etc. Whichever way you decide to go, remember that there will be someone reading the essay and if they do not find it appealing you can find yourself in a predicament with the reader and their comments. Now when it does come down to their comments always remember you can take it two ways, take their comment and apply it, or not use it at all. Just know that they are trying to help you and that it is always good to have a second person to look at your essay.

Handling A Reader On Wikipedia
When editing on Wikipedia, you must remember that someone else will be reading your work and that it will be most likely used for educational purposes. With that being said, you must be sure that information put out is accurate and is necessary for the text. If information is put in the wrong place and does not make sense, there is a good chance it may get deleted. Lastly you must know who your audience is and that there is a difference between a essay and encyclopedia writing.

Wiki Topic 2
I am really excited to start editing on wikipedia especially on different topics I love to talk about. I really like to do research and learn about new topics so I can inform others about what I have learned. This first topic that I would probably edit will probably have something to do with different happenings that take place on a college campus.

Open Choice (college life)
With this being my first year as a college student, it has been pretty easy. The workload is about the same as in high school. The difference between the two is that in high school they would give you time to complete the work in class but in college the tell you when the work is due and you do it on your own time. I have learned out to balance my schedule so I have time do the work and do not start last minute but its going to take a lot for me to go along with this because I am a huge procrastinator :).

Writing As A Tool For Learning
Whenever I think about how I write to learn is first by going to class. My History professor will usually have a lecture every class and I will take notes the entire class period. After this I will go to my room and begin studying what I have learned and try to put all of my notes together in a document so it will make since to me. This will make it easier for me to understand and comprehend the information that way when I take my quiz I will hopefully be able to pass. This is how I write to learn in class.

Wiki Topic
This week I learned more about Wikipedia and how big of an impact it really has on the people who create the post and the people that edit them and their outlook on it. From the video "Impact of Wikipedia" it shows that even though the people that make the post on Wikipedia are not getting paid for it, they get motivation to do it when they make that post and it gets plenty of views and then they realize that they are making a difference by educating others. It is just like the "Writing to Learn" video where first you learn about a subject and then you engage.

Writing To Learn
Writing to learn is completely based around writing a message that will educate another person about an academic subject. Your first step to achieve this goal is to listen to who is teaching the subject and you take notes. As time goes on you are able to start to learn it and you are able to then begin engaging with others. It is just like going about a regular semester of classes. You listen to the teacher and you start to study the subject, and the more you are able to study the subject the more you are able to learn it. Then by the end of the semester, you can hopefully be able to engage by taking your final exam and use all of the knowledge you have gained to do well on it.

What I Have Learned From My Doc1
My Doc1 was based off of why it is important for college students to create a professional online image. From working on the topic and doing research, it has made me realize that I really need to start looking at the things I post online and what I retweet or favorite on twitter. Twitter is something I really have to be alert about because I just started using it a couple of months ago and sometimes the things that I post on there my parents, coach, and employer would most definitely not like it. This assignment has also given me tips on how to start my online professional image by using a website like LinkedIn which is like an online resume and in the future can help employers when I am working on my career.
