Gay Marriage

Mark 10:6-9 But at the beginning of creation God ‘made them male and female.‘For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh. So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate.”


I personally do not agree with Gay Marriage and my purpose for saying so comes from my religion and what is in the Bible. Marriage is between a man and a woman, not a man and man nor woman and woman. This is not to say that I dislike a person because of their sexuality or who they choose to date but I dislike the sin. Although Katha Pollitt believes that gay marriage is okay and does not really care for marriage as she says in her article. She says that "The marriage of man and woman is "sacred," and opening it to same sexers violates its sacred nature". I do agree with this, but to a certain extent, because we are open to letting them in but it is if they are willing to change their way of sexuality to let God into their life.
