Effective Intro For A Wikipedia Article

I believe that an effective intro to a Wikipedia article will say what your article is about and go very in depth with it. I am  not saying to start it off like how you would with a thesis in an essay. No matter what you are talking about, I believe that you should start off by giving a little bit of history and why the topic is so important that it needs an article on Wikipedia. For example if you are creating an article on a company you would probably start with a little bit of origin and why the company is so popular today.

  1. I agree with you. I think that the intro should tell you what the article or whatever is about. Then it should go into depth about it and why it's interesting. If it hooks you in, then that's how you know it's going to be a good article.
